Ipad ios 16.2.1

I keep getting a message to update apple id settings, when i put in my apple id password and sign in it asks for 2 factor authentication and when i put that in i'm asked to put in my 6 digit id passcode, after that it asks for my iphone passcode i put that in and that's where the problem is i there was an error verifying the passcode of iphone 14

This started shortly after i changed the password on my iphone 14 ios 16.3.1

Hopefully somone has had this issue and point me in the right direction.

Hi nh7447,

We'd like to help you find the best solution for being unable to update your settings as prompted. We'd recommend trying this on and off Wi-Fi to see if this remains. If this does, see if you can sign into your Apple ID without any issues on Manage your Apple ID. If you are able to sign in, we would recommend contacting Apple Support.

Hi snick z.

I called Apple support last night 2 hours on the phone and 2 different people I still can’t sign in to anything from my iPad, it’s definitely a software issue and I’m sure they uploaded the software to research.
