I went on vacation and had to put my phone in airplane mode. Ever since I can’t text android phones. I can send photos and group messages but I can’t send or respond to individual texts. I tried my husbands SIM in my phone and it worked.
there is no alert that says the message didn’t send

Your carrier should give you a good SIM card if that is the issue. Contact them and tell them the problem.

Texts are a carrier issue. I would contact your cell service provider and follow up with them.
You could also try a Forced Restart, it solves many issues:

I E done a force restart, I’ve reset my settings etc. it turns out that the SIM card is the issue. Sucks to have to pay for something faulty.
