Ipad charger won’t go into port

My iPad charger cord won’t go into the port .. it just falls out

Make sure you are connecting the correct charger into your iPad.


Here are the iPad models that have usb-c


iPad Pro 3rd generation or later

iPad 10th generation

iPad Air 4th generation or later


If you are connecting the correct cable, your current cable may be damaged, so try a different cable. If the cables still fall out, your charging port on your iPad may be damaged. Bring your iPad to the Apple Store or an Apple authorized service provider.

Troubleshooting USB Charging:

If the charger will not fit, then get a new cable. If that does not work, then get the iPad serviced. If the iPad os obsolete, then take this as a good reason to upgrade to a newer device.
