Yesterday I saw a couple of location based advertisements on the Home Screen of my iPhone for the first time.
How do I opt out of seeing these? iPhones are not budget devices and I don’t appreciate having ads thrust in my face when I use my device.
Go to Settings > Privacy & Security* > Apple Advertising. Turn off Personalized Ads.

Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising, then turn Personalized Ads on or off. Note: Turning off personalized ads limits Apple's ability to deliver relevant ads to you. It may not reduce the number of ads you receive.
That’s already turned off (and has been for years).
Also, that setting just stops Apple from personalising the ads. It doesn’t stop them showing up.
