Hey there sascha185,

We'd like to help rule out some possible causes, along with confirming more details to better understand what's happening with your watch:

  1. When did this start to occur with it?
  2. Does anything show on the screen when this does occur, or does it just seem to be unresponsive with what you were doing on your watch?
  3. Have you noticed that it only occurs when using a specific app or feature on your watch?
  4. Is there any kind of screen covering on your watch, and if there is, does the issue remain with it removed?
  5. You mentioned already restarting your Apple Watch, and that it resolves the issue temporarily. Sometimes unexpected behavior can be resolved with a restart of your paired iPhone: Restart your iPhone
  6. If you have a compatible iPhone model, the latest version is iOS 16.3.1. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. In case you needed it, this link shows how to first back up, then Update your iPhone or iPad.

Cheers!
