Hey hsubydoo,

We understand you're having issues with your iPhone X not being recognized by your PC using iTunes. We'd be happy to help out.

Do you continue to have device recognition problems while directly connected to your PC or this only occurring while attempting to sync over Wi-Fi?

For more info on syncing over Wi-Fi, also review the following steps best equipped to assist with ensuring it's set up properly:

Sync your content using Wi-Fi
After you set up syncing with iTunes using USB, you can set up iTunes to sync to your device with Wi-Fi instead of USB.
1. Connect your device to your computer with a USB cable, then open iTunes and select your device. Learn what to do if your device doesn't appear on your computer.
2. Click Summary on the left side of the iTunes window.
3. Select "Sync with this [device] over Wi-Fi."
4. Click Apply.

When the computer and the device are on the same Wi-Fi network, the device appears in iTunes. The device syncs automatically whenever it's plugged in to power and iTunes is open on the computer.

This is outlined further here: Use iTunes to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod with your computer - Apple Support

If your device isn't being recognized even with connected via USB, please use the link in the steps above to address that.

We hope this information helps out.

Take care!
