Sony Bravia VH1 50 inch: Apple TV App and Airplay functions not working

So I bought a Bravia vh1 tv a couple of days ago, after installing I could log into everything but Apple TV and apple home.

the issue(s):

tried to set up HomeKit, scanned QR code and after a few minutes it says verification fails (tested on other devices afterwards and worked perfectly)

Apple TV when going to the login setting it leads me to the site (no we code) with no verification number shown. I uninstalled the updates disabled and enabled the app and after trying to reinstall updates it failed.

im not sure if it’s a Sony issue or an apple issue but I hope I explained it well
