Libre 3

So I use a Libre 3 sensor. My new iPhone 14 pro max won’t scan the sensor. Thought it was a bad sensor so took it off and placed another sensor on. Same thing. Won’t scan. Got my old iPhone 12 Pro Max back online and it scans!! What is the deal with this brand new phone?

I had the same issue recently, three sensors in a row failed to connect. When talking to Abbott support they stated that is a problem, products are not compatible, and they cannot provide a date when the iPhone 14 and respective iOS versions will be supported.

I really like the product, but this is a significant set back

Probably you are using third-party apps and a third-party device.

If you are experiencing any difficulty with third-party apps or a specific website or a product then please contact the app developer or site publisher/host or the manufacturer directly. Here is how

  • To contact an App developer --> How to contact an app developer - Apple Support
  • To contact a web publisher —> Scroll Down to the bottom of the web page. You will find: Contact Us, Help Center, Support, Terms of use, etc.
  • To contact the Manufacturer --> Please read the manual that may have come along with the product.

When you read the write up by App developer on these app, none of these apps show compatibility with the iOS Health App.

FreeStyle Libre 3 – US on the App Store

FreeStyle Libre 2 - US on the App Store

FreeStyle LibreLink - US on the App Store

At the same time the Blood Glucose Section in the Health shows few Apps and Freestyle Libre is not one of them.

No I am using the Libre 3 app for iPhone and a sensor scanned on this very phone 2.5 weeks ago. Sensor last 14 days. When I placed a new sensor on the phone wouldn’t scan it I assumed it was a faulty sensor. No it is this phone. My old phone scans them fine and remains linked for 2 weeks as did this iPhone 14 pro max now the phone won’t scan a new sensor. It’s the phone with the problem.
