Pegasus frameworks - legitimate?

Hi there,

Can someone please confirm if these are legitimate private frameworks that should be installed in Ventura 13.2.1?

The names are concerning for obvious reasons and I can't find any information anywhere for the last one listed, and only a few, unclear results for the other three that all seem to pertain to iOS.

Yes. I see no issue.

If you poke around in System files there will many many things you will not recognize...you do not have r/w privileges on this locked volume.

ever since macOS Catalina, your System files are locked

Ventura has gone one step further and works off a locked snapshot SSV (signed system volume)

Pegasus part of the macOS, this is a private Apple framework and has been around for years.

Thank you; appreciate it.

I'm not new to Macs -- my first was an SE/30 in 1989 and I've worked in tech ever since. Even still, the number of things I don't recognize while poking around in system files is truly astounding.

Started down this road as my network and firewall settings keep changing on their own despite two factory resets and Apple support was not helpful in any way. Not sure what's my best next step, but thank you again for your reply.
