Applemail. Ventura 13.2.1. Two identical Macs (mini) and 1 iPhone, all up to date, quit sending mail 5 days ago. No changes to any settings were made prior to that. Both Macs use same email address. Neither Earthlink nor AppleCare could find the problem.

From the ‘Window” drop down menu on your Mini in the Mail app select ‘Connection Doctor’ and see what you get. Can we assume you have rebooted your modem/router?
If the problem is only ‘sending’ email try taking a look at Mail->Settings->Composing->Undo Send Delay and turn it off. This is a feature recently added that allows the user to undo a send. Perhaps something went screwy with that.

I guess I should have also have asked what your email address is, not your actual email address but the last part. Is it icloud.com or is it earthlink.com, or something else?
Yes, it indicates the outgoing mail server is not responding. Now we need to know who’s server it is.
Thanks. The SMTP acct. is red; IMAP is green. SMTP (outgoing server) must be dead? corrupted? missing?

What were the results when you used Connection Doctor? Were the results all green dots? If they were that means the Mail app is communicating properly with your ISP’s mail server’s.
Out of the blue, the whole problem resolved on its own after 7 days.
That indicates the problem was with Earthlink, not Applemail.

Tried it, no success. Forgot to mention that all three devices use the same email address. Why all three devices quit sending email on the same day, when no adjustments to any settings had been made on any device, remains a mystery.
Unfortunately first tier tech support often has no clue what’s going on and pointing fingers elsewhere is a convenient way to get rid of pesky users.
