Dock not showing on primary display (13.2.1 (22D68))

problem: the dock moves to the external screen when I start the dual monitor mode.

As suggested by Nicholas_B2,(Dock not showing on primary display - Apple Community) the following solution works:

"move your mouse to the very bottom of the display where you want your dock to appear, the dock will view on that display."

yesterday I bought a new mbp 14", the above method doesn't work anymore, the dock stay firmly at the edge of external monitor, no matter how I move the mouse.

any specialist can help? thanks!

So, dock behavior is kind of strange with multiple displays, but what I've found is that the dock will only move to another display if it is directly next to the display it currently is on. That is, if you have three monitors, you have to go one by one, left to right or right to left to move it across two displays. Also, you can quickly enable/disable auto-hiding the dock by pressing ⌘ + ⌥ + D. If none of this works, try restarting your Mac or reconnecting displays. Hope this helps!
