Hi team,
I had to reset my computer IMAC (2008 Edition) with the cds due to a system error, but now I am unable to update it to the operating system I had on it before. I think it was "OS X Yosemite." I tried running the updater and was only able to get up to 10.5.8
If anyone can lead me in the right direction that would be great.

You'll need to have gone through Snow Leopard to get that iMac to either OS to begin with. If you no longer have the DVD you used, get a retail package instead of one which shipped with a Mac.

Hi Niel, thank you for your help. I saw some Snow Leopard dvds on eBay but a lot of them are pre-owned. Are these legitimate / can these be used? I just don't want to get in legal trouble... thank you.....
