Manual battery charge limiter

I know that macbook air M2 Ventura has software to limit charge level before topping up when I need it. I know that. But my schedule is irregular and I would like to keep the charge level below 80% permanently. I never top up. If you know of a way to do this please respond. If you are just going to critique and disparage my choice please do not. I have done my research and all battery manufacturers say to keep charge level below 100% for longevity. My Lenovo tablet has a feature that keeps the charge level between 40 and 60%. Why not Apple?
