Wondering which MacBook Pro Model (year) you are using,
(How to: Identify your MacBook Pro model)
and if your Mac is compatible with the newer MacOS versions
(Eg: Mac OS 12 : macOS Monterey is compatible with these computers )
Seems you would need to have Mac OS 12 or later installed:
(and to update from Mac OS 10.10 requires moving from 32 bit to 64 bit apps)
