Why does it take a week for Apple Authorized repair shop to diagnose my iPad? iPad not turning on.

I charge my iPad Pro for a couple of minutes, even if it's only 50%. For a good 15 minutes, I checked on it, and it was not turning on. I tried everything to turn it back on and still hasn't turned-on. I decided to immediately have it check on an Authorized Apple repair shop, and the lady said it'll took at least 5-7 days for them to have it diagnose. Does it not make it worse for the device to have it wait longer for it to be fixed, considering that the device is deadly off?

iPad Pro, 16

If your device is switched off, even due to an empty battery, no further damage should be caused.

Only if the battery would have been expanded inside the iPad, the rest of the hardware might be affected.
