Problems reporting weather on Siri HomePod mini

Anyone having problems with Siri reporting temperature on the HomePod mini?


When asked ‘what is temp’ or even ‘what is temp outside’ I get 57 degrees. When I tell Siri this info is incorrect she will ask what else can she do, I then ask her ‘please correct weather data’. Siri then tells me it is 45 degrees- which is the correct temperature.


Asking Siri to correct her weather data seems to be an acceptable work around. However, being more than 10 degrees off on outside temp makes for some very disappointing morning dog walks if one forgets to challenge the data. Any way for me to trust Siri weather reporting on my HomePod mini again? Or do I just stick to the Weather Channel app on my phone?

First make sure location services are enabled on your iOS device (that set up homepod) and in the Home App - Home Settings. Test what happens when you ask Siri on your phone.


You could try disabling location services, restarting the iOS device, then enabling

On your iOS device : Have a look in settings - Your Name - Find My, it should look like this:
