iMessages on Mac Book
Why do only some of the messages (from the same person) appear on my MacBook? All of the messages show up on my iPhone.

Are both devices using the same Apple ID for messages?
If the ones not appearing on the Mac are green on the iPhone, those are SMS messages that are sent outside the iMessage network, and would not appear on the Mac unless the iPhone and Mac are linked together. click here ➜ Forward SMS/MMS text messages from your iPhone to your Mac or iPad - Apple Support
