Text notification

Why doesn’t my iPhone 7 ring when I receive texts from my son. It rings for others and it rings when my son sends a text to my wife and myself.

My wife’s phone won’t ring with texts from me only, anyone else have this issue? My text messages to my wife’s phone don’t notify her with sounds. What’s the problem? I’m not blocked as the phone rings when I call. Any suggestions?

I cannot receive text notification or alert for incoming texts on my 13 Max Pro Mt iPhone 13 max pro will not alert me of any incoming texts. None.

Check if you have enabled Hide Alerts on your son's conversation. Look for a small "crossed out bell". out of the conversations. You deactivate Hide Alerts by swiping from left to right on the conversation in the overview and tapping the purple bell.
