Encryption credentials expired for Dell E525w printer

I had an issue where my macbook pro was no longer able to print to my Dell E525w printer because it said the encryption credentials had expired.

The issue is that the certificate that shipped with the printer has expired and so it could no longer validly communicate over SSL/TLS.

Printer Encryption Credentials Have Expired on Mac Hello guys One of my clients had me visit for a few Mac related reasons and the last thing on the list was the printer encryption expiring. Their Mac is a 2017 MacBook Pro Touch Bar. It was easy to create a self signed certificate in the Epson web interface but it hasn't solved anything. The printer was working fine a week or so before this week and no updates to the system had been applied. The printer firmware is up to date. It was running Monterey when the issue first reared its head and there is no difference now ive updated it to running Ventura. Next part of the puzzle is that my 2018 MBP also running Ventura also could not print when I tested and had the same issue. The printer is Bonjour not AirPrint so the choosing a different protocol solution is not possible. I tried using LPD and first with the generic driver, which printed gobbeldy gook and then with a Gutenprint driver and it just churned out reams of blank paper. Ive read here and also heard on the grapevine that this is actually an issue with the Mac security systems. Here's hoping someone could offer some light on this Thanks very much Lee

Printer say Encryption credentials expired Hi, I just bought a brand new mac computer and now I cannot connect my HP Office Jet 250 Mobile All in One printer to it. It says "Encryption Credentials Expired". I have tried deleting it from the printer list, then choosing it again. I called Apple and they cannot help me. This printer is fairly new and worked perfectly with my previous mac. I have macOS Monterey and it is fully updated. What do I need to do? Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you!

Encryption credentials have expired All my printing jobs sent wirelessly to my Epson WF-7611 printer won't print. I got the message "Encryption credentials have expired". I tried most of the methods suggested by the community but with no success. By the way, all 3 MacBook users in my family received the same message.
