Changing the dates of imported photos

Recently bought a new camera and just imported a load of images to Photos. Had a panic as they weren't visible in the library (initially) but were visible in Imports. Just now noticed that the date shows 2022 not 2023, therefore they are all situated in the 'correct' 2022 date order.

How can i change the dates to 2023 so that they relocate to the right order in 2023?

TIA

Select all the pictures you want to change. Then, in the menu bar, go to" Image>Adjust Date and Time." You get this dialog box:

Highlight the year, and tick the little up arrow once-- the year should change from 2022 (in your case) to 2023. Confirm by hitting the "Adjust button" at the bottom.

This will change all the pictures by the same increment. That is, the times won't all be the same-- they'll keep their same relative spacing. Only the year will change.
