Troubleshooting Error Code: (4041):
The error code "(4041)" is all in regards to restoration. Go Here: If you can't Update or Restore your iPad - Apple Support

Relevancy to Sync:
Restoration seems irrelevant, even so in this case. As to how, then syncing is not occurring for backing up.

Try signing out music app. Close app then reopen. Sign back in . It will take a short time to update your iCloud music library as genius will be rebuilt.
