Texting Myself, why do the texts appear like that?

When I text myself, why do I see it twice, both in blue and in grey? And why does the grey come first?

To be clear, Im not reporting an issue. Im just curious what aspects of the text cause that grey “response” to suddenly appear before my blue “sent” message.
