How to turn off auto reply “I’m driving”

I remember manually turning this feature on some time ago and now I’m on iOS 15 and i can’t figure out how to shut it off for the life of me. And I’ve already tried removing any driving features through Focus and it still auto-replies, sometimes even when I’m not even driving. It’s ruining my life. Someone please help me.

Driving Focus Mode auto replies Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong based on the screenshot? I have auto replies enabled for the driving focus mode and the replies are never sent. It has been this way for all of iOS 15 and now iOS 16. Previously worked perfectly in iOS 14.

Abort Messages IOS 17 'Swipe To Reply' IOS 17 has many new features one of which is Messages 'Swipe To Reply'. To activate this feature is pretty straightforward simply select the bubble you want to reply, swipe right add your reply. But what if that's the wrong bubble or you didn't want to reply to that contact! That is exactly what happened to me, I did eventually abort Messages after faffing around for a little while, I simply couldn't find a straightforward way to abort/exit 'Swipe To Reply'. If the Drive Focus profile sends Auto Replies, go in and delete the profile:

Settings → Focus → Driving > Scroll to the bottom and click Delete Focus.

Drive safely.
