I love my Misfit Ray for the way it looks next to my watch. I don't want a smart watch with a big face. Fossil bought Misfit and is eliminating the Misfit app. that allows me to sync my tracker and show my steps. Is there any way I can use my iPhone to show the number of my steps on the Ray (It has no face.)? I don't want to use my phone as my tracker because I don't have it and don't want to have it on me at all times.
Fossil now owns Misfit. They contacted me with news that they are discontinuing their app. I responded to them about other ways I can continue to use my tracker without the app. They have said it can't be done. So, I'm looking to connect with other uses of the Ray who, like me, are searching for a creative way to contine using the device.

I have the same issue. Love my ray. Even have spares bought from eBay a few years ago after manufacture was stopped. Curious to see if the Fossil Q Legacy app (which is still in the apps store) might somehow work with it. Haven’t tried yet, I assume probably won’t work. The fossil Q tracker was a clone of misfit ray. If the app won’t sync with the ray, then perhaps best bet would be to find a Q tracker used? Assuming support for it is not dropped soon too…
A co-worker gave me her old Max Buzz tracker. It's sold by Virgin Pulse which is the program we use for our employee wellness program. It's not elegant like the Ray but it works. It is about the size of the Q Tracker.
