Disable Wi-Fi While Driving

Whenever I start driving while streaming Spotify or a similar app, my phone will randomly connect to Wi-Fi networks while at red lights. The issue is, once I drive away, my phone takes a good 2 minutes to realize that I am now half a mile away from that Wi-Fi, and my music stops playing until my phone starts to use cell instead.

Basically, can I set Spotify to ONLY use cellular data, and never Wi-Fi? If not, how can I automatically turn off Wi-Fi while driving?

Thanks for any suggestions!

Your phone shouldn't be joining random networks. In fact, it can't if they have passwords. However, I'd suggest you go to Settings>WiFi>Ask to Join Networks and set it to "Off".

You really want to have WiFi on if you use navigation.
