No Service

”No Service” is displayed in the upper left-hand corner, and I cannot make calls, unless I am on Wi-Fi assisted calling. My phone contract is in force, and my data is switched on. I do not understand what else to do to be able to make calls when I am not hooked up to Wi-Fi.
