iPhone 14 Pro Max

I just got a iPhone 14 Pro Max and it doesn’t seem to have much volume even when turned up to max on the side button or any of the volume controls in settings. I’ve seen previous questions about this but nothing definitive as to what can be done. Is there a fix?

iPhone 14 Pro Max, iOS 16

Hello HMSJ1!

If you have a case or screen protector on your iPhone, a great isolation step to try is removing them to see if the volume increases. If the issue persists, restart your iPhone. Although simple, this step can help correct some unexpected behaviors. It's also a good idea to make sure your iPhone is running the latest iOS version since this can help with overall performance: Apple security updates.

I did not remove the screen protector but I did turn the phone off and back on. The volume is definitely better booth on the normal phones speaker and the audio when using the phone hand free.

Sometimes you get so wrapped up with a problem you skip some of thr basics like rebooting the phone.

Thanks for the help.
