Dialog-box highlighting effect in Ventura

I recently installed Ventura, and am having a problem with the effect where, when a dialog box is open, the background, including all other open windows are greyed-out slightly. It's not unattractive in most situations, but I use software that uses a dialog box to make color and level adjustments to images, and this effect makes it difficult to see the results of the changes you are making. I've included a couple of screenshots to illustrate.

Does anyone know how to disable this effect?

I have no idea what this software is, or how compatible it may or may not be with the macOS Ventura

Try uninstalling it and compare your results.

for your third party app—if in doubt search the developers website or contact their: Support/Help/FAQ/Known issues/compatibility/updates/uninstaller

What I can say is the current stable release of Ventura including bug fixes, security updates is macOS Ventura 13.2.1
