iOS 16.3.1

I installed iOS 16.3.1 and now I cannot log in or onto my iPhone SE (second-generation). All I get when pressing the the home button is the opening screen with a box that states “Software Update” “your iPhone has been updated to IOS 16.3.1”. And that is as far as I get. The phone does not respond to anything. The “OK” response bar at the bottom of the message does nothing. I can’t even power down the phone in order to reboot it.

Any ideas about what to do?

  • You still see a black screen after charging, force restarting, following the steps in this article.
  • You see a black screen, but you can hear alerts, sounds, and vibrations.
