Can't delete a 'Tab Group Favourites' from the Side-Bar. AND THEN... I accidentally dragged that folder to my Mac's desktop - and now it can't be dragged to the Bin (the "Moving 'Tab Group Favourites' to Bin" just keeps running.... nothing happens). And it's really annoying to see that and can't do anything about it. Help!!

We understand that you're attempting to delete a tab group from your Mac, and you continue to see the alert that it's being moved to the trash, but it never completes.
Let’s see if restarting your Mac in safe mode allows the tab group to delete. Here’s how: How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support
We want you to be aware that restarting in safe mode may take a bit longer than usual since it prevents some software from loading and does a check of your startup disk. You may also see some graphic anomalies on your screen as well.
Please let us know the results when you're able.

To delete a tab group, you can Control-click the group then choose Delete as outlined here: Edit and customize Tab Groups in Safari on Mac - Apple Support

Hellooooo and thanks! The safe mode did it. That pesky folder is toast. Now if only someone can figure out how to delete a Tab Group Folder in Safari (16.1) that will not disappear.

None of those worked. Believe me, I've tried nearly every trick I know to delete this Tab Group Favourites folder. Uninstalling and reinstalling Safari (all latest version), restarting my Macbook.
Tried to delete from Edit Favourites where other folders and links can be deleted but for that one folder, the options including Delete is not there. I can't even move that empty folder to the bottom of my Bookmarks list - it won't budge. But other folders and links can move. If I try to move the Tab Group Favourites folder, a copy of it appears in the very last folder in the Bookmarks list. Those copies I can Delete. But the original one stays stubbornly at #3 from the top. (See earlier snapshot) Weird!
Think this is a bug for Apple to fix.
