Hi giulianna18,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're having an issue with connecting with one contact over FaceTime. We'd like to help.

The first thing to check on both devices is to see if either of you blocked the other accidentally. For FaceTime, you can block phone number, contact, or email address so you'll want to check to see if any of them are listed

To check your Blocked Callers in FaceTime, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Choose FaceTime
  3. Under Calls - tap Blocked Contacts.

You can find more information about how to block people from connecting with you here: Block phone numbers, contacts, and emails on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

If you need more help after that, let us know what you see, if anything, when you try to connect with this one person and we'll continue to help from there.

Take care!
