Restore my iPhone data

I dropped my phone and it doesn’t seem to work? Can I still salvage my data and photos from the phone via my Apple ID account? Can not get my 2-factor verification code being sent to the old phone, though? What can I do?

You can retrieve you data from iCloud by following these instructions:

Check to see if you need to restore from iCloud: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support
Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID for you iCloud on that iPhone: Sign in to iCloud on all your devices - Apple Support
If iCloud doesn't seem to be syncing properly, work through these steps: If your iCloud Contacts, Calendars, or Reminders won’t sync - Apple Support
