Is Apple TV I’d different from Apple ID

I have not seen “Apple TV ID” in any description, but I think that it is safe to say that what you describe are the same things. Apple ID is the name for accounts in the Apple “eco-system”, including Apple devices, Apple software, and Apple Media Services, including Apple TV+. It links subscriptions and digital purchases to users, among other things. The account is used for the Apple TV app, but can also be used for other Apple things.

You will need an Apple ID account to sign in to the Apple TV app.
