Finder does not search my google drive for desktop [Fixed]

Was about to give up on finding a solution, until I finally just found the setting to enable Spotlight search for Google Drive app (for some reason, this setting is turned off by default).

So basically, from the Google Drive app icon on the Menu Bar:

1. Click the Gear icon

2. Select Preferences

3. Click the Gear icon (again) this time on the top right corner of the main window

4. Make sure to check the box labeled: "Enable Spotlight to search streaming files"

5. Click Restart now (note: it restart the app, not the Macbook)

Try searching for files now. It should work.
