Can't turn off allow contact editing in screen time

I read previous community posts where several people have the same problem I do. I can't turn off allowing contact editing in screen time on my child's iPhone. Whenever I turn it off, as soon as I return to that screen it has been turned back on--green--automatically. It won't stay turned off! I tried erasing the iPhone, rebooting, etc. Finally, Apple Support gave me a suggestion that worked for me! Turn off screen time first everywhere you have it on---parent computer, parent iPhone, etc. Then turn off screen time on child's iPhone, back up to iCloud, reset and erase child's iPhone. Re-program child's iPhone as a new phone including screen time as the parent. For me, the toggle switch for allow contact editing now works. It is off and will stay off instead of converting back to "on" all of the time! Good luck--hope this works for you!
