Will the person be notified if you joined the shared note?

There has to be an invitation sent, by the creator of the note, to be shared with you. That is the only way that you could have joined the shared note. The notification that the creator of the note gets is that the particular note has been shared with you. After that, the creator will get notifications if you or anyone else makes any changes to the shared note.
