I shared a note with someone.
They have access and have read the note.
IF I make an edit, will they get an alert on their phone that I have made an edit, OR, will they just be able to see the edit if they login?
I do NOT want to edit it, if they will get another notification on their iMessage everytime I edit it, but I want them to still have access and to be able to see the edit, only if they CHOOSE to login and read the note.

We'd like to share some information to help you with what to expect for editing a shared Note. Looking over Share notes and collaborate on iPhone - Apple Support, it does not indicate a notification but mentions:
In the notes list, an orange dot to the left of a note title indicates the note has changed since you last looked at it.
, then choose any of the following:Tip: To mention a collaborator and notify them of important updates, type an @ sign followed by their name.

When someone edits a shared note, everyone sharing the note sees the changes, but no one can see who made them. The timestamp below the note in the notes list shows the last time it was edited. If you’re not currently editing a shared note, a yellow dot appears next to the note in the notes list when someone else edits it.

Yes they will get notified. I have a shared note with someone and get notified when it has been edited.
Hi my question is much simpler. IF I edit it on my phone, will THEY get any sort of notification on their device, via text message, that there has been an edit?
Once they open it - that is another story. BEFORE that, if I go in and edit - can I do so WITHOUT them getting any notification (unless they open the note), that I edited it?
I have the EXACT question as you. Sooo, I’m about to just test it out myself hah!
