Good morning! I always could adjust the volume of playing media on the locked screen. This is gone. How do I get that back? It's too complicated to push the volume buttons for a quick adjustment....!

You still can adjust volume of streamed music on lock screen using the buttons. (Why is that complicated?)
Make sure Settings, Sounds & Haptics, Change with buttons is on.
If you are using an app like Spotify check their settings.

I find the buttons so much easier as I can do it without looking at the screen. This is especially useful if I'm walking or running and the phone is in my pocket. I don't have to fumble with it (and risk dropping it) to pull it out of my pocket.
I suspect Apple removed it from the screen because lots of people complained that they were hitting it accidentally.
