How can I connect 2 displays to my M1 Mac Book Air

I noticed that OWC has this: OWC USB-C Dual HDMI 4K Display Adapter with DisplayLink

it is supposed to be a solution to the single external display limitation. but I don't have one to verify that it works,

and it ain't cheap!!

Adding an adapter allows physical connection of more than one external display but the MacBook Air still only supports a single external display. The adapter allows physical connection of more displays to a single Mac port. This results in reduced quality and performance to the connected displays which will not perform to the Mac's specs.

thanks. I kinda thought that was the case. I just figured that at least they could add a second external display even if the performance wouldn't be 100%.
