Apple TV and Netflix streaming - black screen

Both Apple TV and Netflix aren't streaming properly since I upgraded to osVentura.

Both streaming services show a black screen with audio playing and subtitles showing. This happens when I select a show to watch, but the preview video streaming works just fine.

I've tried disconnecting my HDMI cable and nothing changes. I have tried deleting cache, rebooting, Force Quitting AppleTV. All the normal basics I have tried. It really seems to be something that was caused by the upgrade to Ventura.

Any thoughts on how to fix it please?

I found the answer myself. I had OBS open on my computer which causes a lot of the streaming services to black out their screen to prevent screen recording. Turned OBS off and my streaming works perfectly.

Do you watch this on the built-in screen, or on an external display? Protection schemes for the video may block video streams when the authorization bit of screens, cables, adapters isn’t to the liking of the protection tech. That shouldn’t happen on original built-in screens.

Do you watch Apple TV+ in the TV app, or on the web?

Do you watch Netflix on the web? Netflix doesn’t allow screen mirroring, nor AirPlay streaming.
