Yellow/Green flickering screen on iphone 13 pro max

The issue happened on 26/2 night. Was watching netflix halfway and the screen flickered twice and had lines thereafter.

Did a restart of phone and issue still persists. Plug into itunes and restore, it doesnt help.

27/2 went down to MBS for help, service agents were helpful and did a report. On the report, it states that geniuses were aware of this issue during discussion. The Genius on the phone evaluate my situation and decided that i need to pay full on the replacement of LCD as i was trying to negotiate a subsidised bill with him.

Went to QCD at AMK ITE in the end for serivce as it was nearer to my house.


When i was there, a person in front of me was also facing the same issue on his iphone 13 pro max and was paying at the counter. After paying and waiting for my phone to be fixed, a couple came in with the same issues as well, with 1 Iphone 13 pro max and 1 iphone 13 pro.

Thinking back, the genius which was on the phone with me told me that this is not a common problem but definitely a known one.

My question to Apple is : how is this issue not a common problem? Is the volume of people coming to you guys not high, which is why you guys dont see this as an issue?


I have been very careful with my phone, using about 1 year plus with 94% battery health now. This is definitely not a user issue which you guys can brush away because there is definitely something wrong with the hardware manufacturer.
