Is anyone else having same issue
Netflix on my Apple TV 3rd gen is no longer working. I know the password and name is correct because it works on my cell phone. But doesn’t work on Apple TV 3. I’m gunna assume it’s too old now and doesn’t support it anymore. I guess I’ll be using Roku now

The 3rd gen is over 10 years old and didn't run native apps (relaying on server-based channels instead). At this time most providers have dropped support for those. If Netflix still lists support on their page then you would need to contact them for assistance or get clarification from them if they are choosing not to support any longer.

Did you check for any updates for the Netflix app, or reinstall it?
According to the Netflix Support page, the app should support your Apple TV 3rd gen.
Do verify if a wrong time setting on the device might be a cause for errors.

Any reason you would not be interested in a new Apple TV instead. Old Roku’s have issues too you know.
