If someone blocks my number and I send them an iMessage anyway, will I get the delivered tag underneath my message? I have attached an example, is this the case? Or will it say delivered whether I have been blocked or not blocked.

All the sender will know is whether read receipts are on. Not whether the messages are blocked or not blocked.

Apple indicates you will get no indication you’re blocked.
Nothing more.
Not unless they tell you.
Whether or not you get feedback on delivery does not change that.
I have heard both,
that you will receive the delivered tick regardless of blocked status, and I have also heard that you will not receive the delivered tick. I have also heard that your messages will turn green and lastly I have heard that you will receive a “message not delivered” error. So I am very unsure what to believe.

Again, the image you posted explicitly answers this.
You could of course annoy one of your contacts into blocking you, and test it yourself.
No need to be ~rude~. The image does explicitly show one of the many possible things I have researched could happen when you are blocked. Again the one I posted was one of MANY different images that I saw. I feel this should be a pretty simple question for anyone who knows the mechanics of apple iMessage.
