Email attachments disappearing

MacBook Air Ventura 13.2.1 just recently if I try to attach more than 2 to an email, they all disappear. Help!

Apple Mail deletes email attachments just before I click on send Hi. This occasional problem has been happening for a few months and I can't find any help on solving it. Any advice would be gratefully received! When I add an attachment to an email, either by drag and drop or using the paperclip button, the attachment is added to the email no problem. But then, if I make any further changes to the text, or particularly if I add or delete a recipient, the attachment occasionally disappears. No warning, no flag. Obviously I've got used to checking, but don't always, meaning I get emails back from clients saying 'You forgot to add the attachment'. I haven't worked out exactly what triggers the invisible 'Delete attachment' button, it seems to be random. Has anyone else solved this problem? Mark MacBook Pro, Catalina 10.15.7 Mail Version 13.4

Disappearing emails when moved to file folder 2017 quad core i5 iMac running Ventura 13.2.1 When moving emails from inbox to file folder the content of the email disappears. This seems to have started in the last day or do. Is there a remedy for this situation?

Apple Mail - 'remove attachments' is greyed out I'm using Apple Mail (16.0) on a MacBook Air (M1) running Ventura 13.6. The option to 'remove attachments' under Message in Mail is permanently greyed out and trying to delete attachments results in the email being deleted. I sometimes get emails with quite large graphic attachments and purely to save space I would like to delete the attachment but retain the email. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

Can you elaborate a bit further as to the issue you're facing?

For example, is this an issue specifically with 3 or more attachments? If you attach two, they work properly?

If you try to send an email to yourself with 3 or more attachments, do they actually go through even if they seem to disappear? Is this an issue that started after updating, or have you had issues sending attachments via Mail in the past?
