About the Apple Ecosystem, I still don’t understand why can’t I connect all my home pods to Apple TV as 1 United sound system, as they only allow to be in stereo pairs 🙄

Would be awesome to put the big new Home pod on the back center then 4 small ones 2 in the front center and 2 on the mid sides…

It’s nice the spacial audio, but having the speakers positioned in the surrounding way and having it all together still sounds better, and I have a surround sound device instead of using all my home pods in the room for it on my  Apple TV, it is disappointing!

No, I just keep adding HomePods to the output. But I understand...it would be nice if instead of "pairs" you could connect 6+ HomePods and have them react off each other...like true surround sound....something "behind" the actors or camera would be "behind" us in the room. Totally get it.

I do something similar to you! But my AppleTV actually allows me to connect to as many HomePods as I like (2 pairs of stereo sets and two other individual HomePods--6 total--3 Original HomePods, 3 HomePod Minis).

Yup, but it’s temporary though,

it’s annoying having to put it every time instead of having them all together permanently if we choose it so!
