How do I update my AirPod firmware?

I am on firmware version 3A283 on my Apple AirPod 2nd gen. It should be 5B59. How do I update this? I’m having problems with my Siri.

Hi! AirPods update automatically when connected to iPhone or iPad. If they don’t update after a while, make sure your iPhone or iPad has the latest iOS. Then, plug them in to a charger with the AirPods in the case and close to the iPhone or iPad they are connected to. The update should be delivered after a little while.
