WiFi Extender Does Not connect to Mac Desktop Pro Using Ventura 13.2.1

The extender is plugged in and indicates wifi is available. However, the extender does not appear in the available wifi network list. Resetting the extender hasn't helped, nor has it worked when the computer and extender are connected with an ethernet cable. The extender previously worked, so it's listed in the advanced wifi settings. However, when I ask to automatically join the network or enter it manually through the other networks, the network diagnostic says it's not there and can't find it.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

If you’re having problems connecting to a Wi-Fi network, there are several solutions you can try.

• Make sure Wi-Fi is turned on. You can use the Wi-Fi status icon in the menu bar to turn Wi-Fi on. See Use the Wi-Fi status menu.

• You may be out of range. Make sure your Mac is within range of the wireless network.

• The Wi-Fi service may not be available in Network settings. See If you don’t see Wi-Fi in Network settings.

• If you are connecting to a wireless network created by an AirPort base station or AirPort Time Capsule, restart the device by unplugging the power cord. Wait a few minutes, then plug the power cord back in. After the network is available, try connecting again.
