How to pair two Apple IDs?

Hello I was using an iphone 11 until recently. But I had to return it to my previous employer. I made a backup on icloud before handing it in. Now I am temporarily using iphone 6 on my ID.

At my new job I have an iphone SE and a new ID email1@olympus.com.

My question is whether it is possible to pair these two IDs. Specifically, how can I transfer photos, contacts, etc. from the ID email2@icloud.com to the new id email1@olympus.com?

Thank you

Merging Apple accounts (IDs) or transferring data is not officially supported, Read the links below for things you may need to do to transfer as much as is possible and to share some others.

Apps and media bought with one ID are permanently associated with that ID. Look into using Family Sharing to continue to be able to use items purchased with one Apple ID with other Apple IDs, and for some data sharing features.

Share folders with iCloud Drive --> Share files and folders in iCloud Drive on iCloud.com - Apple Support

Read How to use Shared Albums in Photos on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac - Apple Support about about how to share photos.

If you have signed into the first ID on a device then fortunately when you sign out of that ID, do not erase the device, then sign in with a different ID, it asks you in most cases if you wish to merge the data from the two IDs on your device. Say yes and later delete individual items from the other ID that you do not want. Note, in How to save apps and progress on one Appl… - Apple Community a Community Specialist says, "you will not be able to transfer the meta data from one Apple ID to another. Once you switch to another Apple ID the information associated with the old Apple ID will be gone except for physical content on the device like photos and videos."

If another Apple ID is signed in you may need to enter the password for that ID to sign out of that ID first.

Your best option would be to see if there's some way you could just stick with using the old ID. You can simply change the email address on that one to your other email address, or better yet, use a third party one since when you leave your job at the new employer you don't want to be left needing access to an email account you no longer have.

Here's how you change the email address you use for your Apple ID:

1. Go to https://appleid.apple.com and sign in.

2. In the Sign-In and Security section, choose Apple ID.

3. Enter the email address that you want to use as your Apple ID.

4. Choose Change Apple ID.

5. If you changed your Apple ID to a third-party email address, check your email for a verification code, then enter the code. Learn what to do if you didn't get the email. --> If you didn't receive your verification or reset email - Apple Support

6. If you use services like iCloud or Messages to share with friends and colleagues, sign in to those services with your updated Apple ID. --> What to do after you change your Apple ID or password - Apple Support
