Extend display to a monitor isn’t working. The ipad isn’t even detecting the monitor. I have an M1 ipad pro 11 inch with ipados version 16.3.1
I am connecting the monitor with a USB C hub using an hdmi cable. All other ports of the same hub is working fine but only the extend display isn’t working.
I’ve tried resetting my ipad.
I’ve tested the hub on a different ipad (with older ipad os version)- it works.
Could someone please help?

If possible test with the iPad connecting directly to the monitor to ensure it isn't related to the USB hub.

It seems to be an OS problem, started with the update to 16.3.1. I have an instructor who had it working perfectly before the update.
You can try rebooting the iPad while it's connected. That's the current fix for Mac laptops where the image flashes.
