When the weather app shows the precipitation map the animation doesn’t work.
I already tried to close the app and reload but it still does the same thing.

I'm seeing the same thing on both iOS and MacOS. Blocks of data missing on the map, or nothing showing at all on the map when it's raining. This has been happening for me for about a month. Closing out the app, restarting, turning off Private Relay, etc. does not help. Must be something on Apple's end.
Slow WiFi or internet connections can negatively impact the Weather App animations. Try using a different WiFi or internet connection; if you have a VPN enabled, disable the VPN.
I just measured 250 Mbps with the VPN turned on. I don’t think it’s the VPN.
Perhaps Apple’s servers are experiencing performance issues. At this time, I also observe that the Precipitation maps are failing to load.
